Joana Linogao was born in the Philippines but grew up in London. She now resides in Houston ready to explore the creative city!
Artist Statement
I am a graphic designer and a mix media artist who enjoys experimenting with a wide variety of mediums such as textiles, paint and digital illustrations. I love to find inspiration in everything, even in the everyday mundane life. As someone who was quiet and shy growing up, flamboyant colours and bold shapes that are striking became big components to my artwork, as it provided a freedom of expression and release.
