Immanuel was born in Paranaque, Philippines and migrated to the states at the age of 17.
Artist Statement
I’ve been writing poems since grade school. I often write poems in 3 different ways. One way is where I use inanimate objects to describe dynamics of relationships. Another uses a very direct expression, or exclamation, of a feeling. Third is writing poems in abstract, inviting the reader to interpret the meaning based on what feeling it invokes in them.
